I am currently struggling in my biology course because I spend the entire lecture transcribing slide text instead of listening to the professor's explanations. I have tried using the Cornell method, but I still end up with cluttered pages that are impossible to review before exams. How can I balance capturing the core concepts during class while still keeping my notes organized enough to use for active recall later?
