EduPath Hub is an independent educational portal created for college applicants, undergraduate students, graduate researchers, and academic writers. Our mission is to make complex education decisions and study tasks easier to understand through free tools and practical guidance.
About the creator
EduPath Hub was founded and developed by Alex Lirik — the publishing name of the project's founder and lead developer (development accounts: lirikpas). Alex has spent years on both sides of academic life — as a student planning applications and budgets, and as an engineer building tools. What started as a personal project to make education decisions transparent grew into the open-source platform you see today.
Alex maintains the calculators and data pipelines, keeps the methodology in Methodology up to date, and personally supervises the editorial process described in our Editorial Policy. The project is developed in the open: GitHub, Codeberg, GitLab.
Guides and answers are produced through our transparent AI-assisted editorial process: drafts are generated from real student questions and search demand, checked by automated quality gates, and published under the founding editor's supervision. We also publish original research from our own data — see the Student Writing Trends Report.
