Data and Calculator Methodology

EduPath Hub tools provide educational estimates based on the values entered by the user and, where stated, public institutional data. Results are intended for comparison and planning, not as guarantees.

College data

College Finder, Degree ROI, and related features use data from the U.S. Department of Education College Scorecard. Coverage and reporting periods vary by institution, and recent changes may not yet appear in the source dataset.

Degree ROI

ROI estimates compare education costs with projected earnings inputs. Actual outcomes vary by program, completion time, grants, borrowing terms, location, occupation, taxes, inflation, and employment history.

Admission chances

Admission estimates compare user-provided academic information with available institutional indicators. They cannot account for the complete application, institutional priorities, or future policy changes.

Loan and GPA tools

Loan calculations use the principal, rate, payment, and term supplied by the user. GPA calculations follow the selected grade values and credit weights. Users should confirm official figures with their lender, school, or financial-aid office.
