A co-author claims first authorship on a paper I wrote, what do I do?

I drafted the manuscript, ran the analysis and wrote the first three sections. A senior member of the group told me last week that authorship has been agreed as first author for them. Our lab has no written policy. What are the norms and how do I raise this early?
