Currently a grad student at Yale. They put my email on the department website so I get these offers to "tutor" kids or do "research projects" with them for like $100/hr from tutoring companies. Is this the new meta for getting into top n schools? We went from admitting kids who were rich to admitting kids who are rich and also full of it?
