Parents paying for their kids to "do research" kinda pmo
Currently a grad student at Yale. They put my email on the department website so I get these offers to "tutor" kids or do "research projects" with them for like $100/hr from tutoring companies. Is this the new meta for getting into top n schools? We went from admitting kids who were rich to admitting kids who are rich and also full of it? At least back then, people got admitted for being good at fencing or polo or whatever submitted by /u/avgtreatmenteffect [link] [comments]
