"Free under 200k" is a lie
Our family has never made over 200k, but we are close to the limit. Last year we came the closest, making 198k. But this is still under 200k. The only assets we have are retirement accounts and equity on our primary and only home, which we bought in 2012. Supposedly neither of those are factored into aid considerations. Yet I have run the NPCs on every school claiming "free for families making under 200k" and NOT ONE has offered zero tuition. These colleges and universities are straight up lying. submitted by /u/Popplepip [link] [comments]
